Island Tops

Today’s kitchen island replaces yesterday’s kitchen table. There is hardly a kitchen plan today that does not incorporate an island and sometimes even two! The island allows for more base cabinetry and more surface area to work with. Some might say ‘the more surface area the better.’ Whether you want more room for two cooks to prepare dinner or a place to enjoy your coffee, the island is a welcome addition where space allows.

Consider a top with both wood and soapstone for multipurpose use. We can build a new wood top for your existing island or compliment the style of an all new layout. Some island designs could prove fun, yet functional, with both soapstone and wood integrated into the top. For example, soapstone surrounding a cook top area with a raised wood bar top. Bring your ideas and let’s create together.
